This past Saturday night Premier Business Centers tried to bowl over the competition at the 20th Annual LACRA Bowling Tournament at Bay Shore Bowl in Santa Monica!
One reason for this fun night was to demonstrate a responsibility to the community, so part of the proceeds went to The Weingart Center. This is a non-profit organization that helps the homeless and economically disadvantaged gain self-sufficiency through employment opportunities. The event also collected suits, skirts, pants, blouses, shirts, belts, and shoes for The Weingart Center’s clients to wear on job interviews and during their first weeks at work.
Stroll Down LACRA Lanes is put on every year by the Los Angeles Commercial Realty Association. They're a non-profit whose members are professionals in marketing, sales, and development of commercial properties in metropolitan Los Angeles. Our hosts expected about 300 developers, investors, contractors, architects, space planners, property managers, landlords, real estate attorneys, asset managers, and commercial real estate brokers to come out to bowl!
Professionals gathered into groups of four and made team reservations for $200 a team. Individuals contributed $60, and even people who just wanted to watch the action could pay $50 to be a spectator. The adults-only night included two rounds of bowling, a Swingin’ Margarita Hour and a buffet dinner. Oh, and prizes for best team bowling shirt, the best individual bowling shirt and the man and woman each with the highest scores.
We were excited to be a co-sponsor of this event, especially since we feel that such a cause aligns with our company's desire to support the creation of job opportunities by providing low cost services to businesses of all sizes. Plus, we always love spending time with some awesome professionals. And we had a great time doing all of it! Check out more pictures of us hanging out and strolling down the lanes on Facebook.
We hope you made it out!
